These Terms & Conditions govern every booking and every purchase made with G8 VIP Rentals ("we", "us", "our"), a jumping castle, décor and party equipment hire business based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, which also sells brand-new jumping castles, water slides and bubble houses. By requesting a booking or placing an order — whether via our website, WhatsApp, or by paying through our online payment buttons — you ("you", "the customer") agree to these terms.

1. Bookings

A booking can be requested through our website's booking form, via WhatsApp, or by paying directly through our online payment button. A booking is only confirmed once we have acknowledged it to you (by WhatsApp message or otherwise) and, where payment is required upfront, once that payment has been received in full through our payment gateway.

2. Pricing and payment

All prices shown on our website are in South African Rand. Hire and décor prices exclude delivery: jumping castle delivery is R50 and décor transport is R500 in the Middelburg area, and other areas are quoted on request (see our Delivery & Setup Policy).

Online payments are processed securely by Payfast, a PCI DSS compliant payment gateway using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. We do not see or store your card details at any point — they are handled entirely by Payfast.

3. Buying a castle

• Sale prices are once-off prices for brand-new units.
• Delivery anywhere in South Africa depends on the product price and is added when you pay online. Delivery to other countries is quoted per destination. Full details are in our Delivery & Setup Policy.
• Your order is confirmed once payment has been received in full. The product becomes yours on full payment.
• You may return a new, unused product within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. Faulty products are repaired, replaced or refunded under the Consumer Protection Act. See Part B of our Refund Policy.
• Use, supervise and anchor your castle safely, following the safety rules in section 4 and the instructions we give you.

4. Equipment use and safety

• An adult (18 or older) must supervise the equipment at all times while it is in use.
• Shoes, sharp objects, food, drink, and any items capable of causing damage or injury must be kept off jumping castles and inflatables at all times.
• Equipment must not be used in rain, strong wind, or other unsafe weather — see our Refund Policy for what happens when this affects your event.
• Any weight, age, or number-of-users limits communicated to you at delivery must be followed.
• You are responsible for ensuring guests follow these safety rules for the duration of the rental period.

5. Setup requirements

To set up safely, we need a reasonably flat, clear area free of sharp objects or debris, and access to a standard power outlet within reach of a standard extension lead (for equipment that requires a blower). An adult must be present to receive the delivery and again at collection.

6. Damage and loss

You're responsible for hired equipment during your rental period. Fair wear and tear is not charged for, but damage caused by misuse, negligence, unsafe use, or failure to follow the safety rules above may be charged to you at repair or replacement cost, which we will discuss with you directly before charging anything.

7. Cancellations, postponements, and weather

Full details are in our Refund Policy. In short: because a booking reserves your date and equipment exclusively, our default is to move your booking to a new date rather than issue a cash refund, except where we are the ones unable to fulfil the booking.

8. Liability

We maintain our equipment in a safe, clean condition and inspect it before every booking. We are not liable for injury or loss arising from misuse of the equipment, failure to provide the supervision described above, or circumstances outside our reasonable control (including weather). Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under South African law.

9. Privacy

We collect the information you give us when booking or ordering (name, contact details, event or delivery address, and event details) only to fulfil your booking or order and communicate with you about it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We don't sell or share your information with third parties beyond what's needed to process payment (via Payfast) or deliver your booking or order.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
